Transhipment Terminals Slawkow – Medyka

Terminale Przeładunkowe Sławków – Medyka has been present on the market since 2005. The Company was established on 20.12.2005 under the name of Terminal Przeładunkowy Medyka Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Katowice by the following Partners: Centrala Zaopatrzenia Hutnictwa S.A. (currently CZH S.A. Group). Przedsiębiorstwo Spedycyjne Trade Trans Sp. z o.o. (currently PKP Cargo Connect Sp. z o.o.) On July 27, 2007 the Partners increased the Company’s share capital to PLN 42,814,000 and at the same time contributed nearly 25 ha of investment land in Sławków. The Company changed its name to Terminale Przeładunkowe Sławków – Medyka Sp. z o.o.     

The basic scope of activity of our company is:

  • Transhipment operations

  • Storage in storage yards

  • Rail transport

  • Automotive forwarding

  • Forwarding services

Both the excellent location of the terminal as well as the available infrastructure and
specialized transhipment equipment are our unquestionable advantages allowing for a quick and efficient performance of the ordered services.  

Location at the junction of the wide-gauge (1520 mm) and standard gauge (1435 mm) railway lines at the westernmost point of the wide-gauge railway line at a distance of 400 km from the Polish-Ukrainian border  

Location: near the intersection of the most important pan-European transport corridors, location within the Upper Silesian Industrial Area, near the main national routes – the A-1 motorway, the A-4 motorway.
Infrastructure: Terminal area – 25 ha Fenced and monitored area

Commodities and materials handled: iron ore, aggregates, coal, coke, salt, steel and metallurgical products, wood raw materials, goods in big bags and on pallets
